In the 2020 ICA elections, Mariek Vanden Abeele (U Tilburg, Netherlands) was elected as new Vice Chair of our Interest Group. Mariek will take over the office on the last day of the ICA Annual Conference in 2021. She will serve the Interest Group for four years, with two years as Vice-Chair and then assuming the position of Chair for two years. As Vice Chair, Mariek will take over the position from Keri Stephens who will continue as Chair of the Interest Group, after Rich Ling will end his term as Chair in 2021.
